Tom, Owner/Stylist
Originally from northern Indiana, Tom launched his career at Vidal Sassoon in Chicago in 1985. After completing his apprenticeship, he dedicated a decade to Sassoon, honing his skills and understanding the essence of advanced hair education. Tom then relocated to Arizona, where Taglio Salon was born. Specializing in short to medium-length hair, Tom emphasizes natural growth patterns to ensure predictability and easy maintenance. He believes that continuous education and professionalism are the pillars of Taglio Salon. Outside the salon, Tom’s passion is collecting and savoring fine wines with friends.
Donna, Stylist
Since starting her journey at Taglio Salon in 2003, Donna has become known for her stunning curly locks. With a rich background that includes an apprenticeship at Vidal Sassoon and advanced training in NYC with brands like Bumble & Bumble and Aveda, Donna’s expertise shines through. She excels in cutting short hair, particularly men’s styles—her barbering techniques are a sight to behold! Originally from New Jersey, Donna has made Phoenix her home. An avid gardener, antique enthusiast, and comedy lover, Donna takes pride in her hair and humor.
Hendrix, Stylist
Since joining Taglio Salon in 2010, Hendrix has established a reputation for clean, conservative cuts. A fashion enthusiast, she believes that the right haircut can beautifully complement one’s overall look. Hendrix has a knack for working with fine hair, offering everything from precise cuts to voluminous blow-dries. Away from the salon, Hendrix cherishes time with her two boys and husband.
Sydney, Stylist
Sydney began her professional journey at Taglio Salon in 2012. As an Arizona native with a love for food, hiking, and coffee, she brings warmth and precision to her craft. Specializing in bobs, blunt cuts, men’s styles, and Babes hair extensions, Sydney consistently refines her skills, with advanced training from brands like Bumble and Bumble and Oribe.
Paige, Colorist
Beginning in 2007 at Taglio Salon, Paige stands out with her bohemian chic style and vibrant lipstick choices. A creative force, she crafts bespoke color shades for her clients, drawing from training with industry leaders from Wella and Aveda. As a color educator for Taglio Salon’s Advanced Training program, her expertise shines. Outside the salon, Paige loves exploring Fossil Creek with her family.
Lauren, Colorist
Joining Taglio Salon in 2012, Lauren specializes in crafting natural, effortless colors, especially for blondes. Additionally, she offers straightening treatments like Keratin and Brazilian. With a keen eye for detail and a creative heart, Lauren also enjoys crafting, especially making fabric bouquets. Her advanced training encompasses techniques like Balyage and free-hand painting. Lauren treasures moments spent with her daughter Opal and husband Jay.
Hannah, Colorist
Hannah has been with Taglio Salon since 2012. Recognizable for her love of darker aesthetics and makeup, she draws inspiration from films, 60’s fashion, and makeup styles. Specializing in balyage and smoothing treatments, Hannah aims to enhance clients’ natural beauty. She deeply admires Lana Del Ray for her lyrical prowess.
Debbie, Colorist/Stylist
Debbie’s journey with Taglio Salon started in 2017. Born and raised in Hawaii, she has a particular expertise with thick, curly, and specifically, Asian hair. Debbie’s training includes programs at Paul Brown Salons and extensive courses at Vidal Sassoon. When not at the salon, she relishes time with her two pets, exploring culinary delights, and traveling.
Sonja, Stylist
Sonja joined Taglio with training as a color specialist using the Sassoon technique. Her 17-year stay in NYC saw her crafting looks for runway shows, photo shoots, and Broadway. Sonja revels in smoothing treatments, creating minimal-damage platinum blondes, and achieving perfect blowouts. Away from work, she’s passionate about hiking, studying mysticism, and hunting vintage treasures.
Lamia Shamoon, Colorist/Stylist
With over 30 years in the industry, Lamia’s vast experience spans from Chicago’s North Shore to opening her own salon in 2000. Combining haircutting with color mastery, she’s garnered a dedicated clientele. Now in Scottsdale, she specializes in women’s hair. In her downtime, Lamia enjoys reading, traveling, and learning about various cultures, always valuing time with her son.
Chloe, Colorist
Starting her journey in 2020, Chloe is known for her love of baking and experimenting with new cooking methods alongside her twin sister. As an Arizona native, she excels in creating fashion colors, high-maintenance blondes, and deep brunettes. Away from work, Chloe adores her two wiener dogs, Dexter & Lily.
Skylynn, Stylist
An Arizona native from Prescott, Skylynn is passionate about making her clients feel confident and beautiful. A Disney enthusiast with two furry companions—a guinea pig and a rabbit—her zest for life translates into her work, ensuring everyone leaves her chair feeling rejuvenated.
